If each person is a world, my pieces of work are my maps.
My work is said to be realistic with no lack of freshness, my pictures amaze for their light, and something which surprises me, as I am so attached to reality is their imagination, anyway, I think my work is simply painting.
After many years of oil painting, for the last ten years I have dedicated my time to investigate with acrylic paint on self prepared wooden boards. In this area I have designed convex carpentries to give sculptural volume to my paintings.
I believe that the only actual personal thing which one can give to current art is what I observe. In this sense I try to tell what fascinates me about what I see with a neat and subtle colour calligraphy, that is what painting is for me, I take with me what I see, the calligraphy is what will remain from me.
The watching and observation of the world open the possibility to diverse dialogues, in the crossroad between what the world gives to me and what I can humbly add. “Si cada persona es un mundo, mis trabajos son mis mapas” Lleva más de cuarenta años dedicada a oficios artísticos, en los campos de la escultura y la pintura. Estudió en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios pero lo que tiene más peso en su trayectoria es su formación autodidacta.
