Paul Shiers

My name is Paul Shiers and I paint a wide variety of subject matter in a realistic style. I’ve been painting for over 40 years now, I’m completely self-taught and I have painted in just about every medium and style you can think of, but it is the works of the old masters where my real passion is. Their meticulous attention to detail and method is what I strive to learn from and use in my own paintings day-to-day.

I paint portraits, wildlife, figurative imaginative realism paintings and much more.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), reflecting professional recognition alongside a dedicated artistic practice.
