Francis Reynolds

Francis Reynolds is a British Artist who lives and works in Cambridgeshire, England. He returned to education as a mature student in 2007 to study Fine Art. Reynolds graduated with a Fine Art BA at Loughborough University in 2012. Since graduating, Francis started a family yet still achieved regular exhibitions up to 2020. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, and his experience of attempting to teach Art online, Reynolds has focused on his teaching practice whilst still creating artwork. Gaining a qualified teacher status in 2023, Reynolds continues to teach 11-18 year old students, bringing his passion, knowledge and enthusiasm of art to the next generation. He often creates art alongside students as well as bringing in current studio work. This allows for students to see artwork and experience the creative process along with being able to question the artworks.
Reynolds' paintings are held in Private collections throughout the UK and internationally.

Reynolds’ practice can be seen to be quite destructive in as far as process. However, it can be said that the passive/ aggressive nature of the paintings lends themselves to the very nature of the human condition.
