Asha Suresh

It's passion for colors that connected Asha to the artistic world of painting. She has donned many hats, but never let her passion for painting wither away. It’s been over a decade since she started learning painting from veteran artists from Trivandrum and Bangalore.

Asha finds her inspiration in Raja Ravi Varma’s paintings. She captures colors, vibrancy, beauty and happiness with her deft strokes, often using her favorite mediums oil and acrylic. Asha explores the realms of portraits, landscapes, and abstracts and has a passion for drawing mandalas. She finds it relaxing and soothing to spend time and energy on the intricate details of mandalas. Asha loves to travel and enjoys reading fiction.

After graduating in English Literature, she went on to pursue MSW in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work and M Phil in Psychiatric Social Work. Over the years, she has taken up various roles which include counselor, social worker, and art & play therapist. Now she is a full-time artist and also conducts art therapy workshops and painting classes regularly.
