Available for commissions. Do buy books! Born 1952, Seattle, WA USA, Claire Youmans had a long career as a lawyer, is a published author and poet, and began to pursue art to illustrate poetry. Youmans' visual art appears in private collections in the US and Japan.Youmans is deeply influenced by the eternally transient landscapes that surround her. In 2013, Youmans returned to words to produce the acclaimed The Toki-Girl and the Sparrow-Boy, a fantasy adventure novel for tween to YA readers, published in 2014. Book Two: Chasing Dreams, will be published in 2015. Covers by Franki Chan. Interior illustrations by readers or historic. Youmans plans to add visual art to the Toki-Girl and the Sparrow-Boy mix, and is simply bursting with creative energy and ideas!
