Sylwia Zakrocka

I have been professionally involved in artistic creation since 2006, although my journey with art began much earlier. From the age of eight, I continuously attended numerous art courses and workshops, developing my skills in painting and drawing in Szczecin, Warsaw, and Barcelona, where I also spent several school years.

Initially, I focused primarily on painting, which remains the foundation of my work to this day. My artistic practice exists at the intersection of fine art and design, combining free artistic expression with a spatial, interior-oriented way of thinking. Pattern and color play a central role in my work and form the core of my recognizable style.

Over time, I expanded my practice to include the design of bespoke interior elements. In my studio, I create fully handmade functional objects such as tables, lamps, cabinets, and washbasins, all designed from scratch with a strong emphasis on uniqueness, materiality, and refined detail.
