Elena Petrova

Petrova Elena was born on November, 19th, 1974 in Novosibirsk. Elena is a restorer of oil paintings and an art critic. In her artistic heritage - study at the Moscow Art School and St.-Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after Repin's and work on the restoration of paintings by the greatest russian artists - Aivazovsky, Bogoliubov, Kustodiev, Lagorio, Makovsky. Elena admits that the restoration has given her a lot, helped to understand how to achieve a particular effect in painting.
"Painting for me - is, first of all, the color- says the artist. -Color of pure, saturated, without "impurities". I like bright life, and generally speaking, I simply love life. Therefore, creating my paintings, I wish that it carried joy, good mood. And to express that, above all, color."
Today the paintings of talented and original artist are in private collections in Russia, Spain, Greece, Holland, France, Latvia, Slovakia.
