Kseniya S Chafin

I was born in 1983 in Vladivostok, Russia. I'm 28 year-old young lady with a wide circle of varied interests. I sing in an amateur choir, I'm keen on yoga and ancient East culture, read and think a lot, keeping my mind always open for a new experience. Besides I've got a higher education in Art. In short I consider myself to be a typical creative person. In outline Im a young talented artist, a doll maker. Almost every doll of mine finds its appreciators and supplements various private art collections all over the world (Russia, France, Italy). I never repeat the dolls I make, they are all one-of-a-kind and unique. The images I create are taken from my own fantasy and they are necessarily positive. To bring positives and kindness into this world with what I do is my art and life motto. So, my dear viewer , I do hope my art will make you smile!

A genre I work in is used to call Art Doll. Ive been making it professionally for 4 years already since the time I finished Omsk State Pedagogical University, the faculty of the Fine Arts, in 2005. I managed to take part in the Annual International Doll Salon in Moscow in 2008 once and in the International Moscow Doll Fair in 2007, where my art had a great success and my dolls won a special nomination called An Audiences Sympathy Prize. As well there were 2 personal exhibitions organized and passed in my own city not so long ago in 2009 and 2010. Also from time to time I participate in various art and art doll projects. The last one passed in Novosibirsk ("A Wonderful Creation - 2009"- International Show of Art Doll and Teddy Bear) where the doll I presented was awarded with a Diploma of Prize Winner. ,
