Brent Holland

I love to watch and study. I focus on the process and psychology of observation and creation instead of making artwork that deals with current political and social trends.

Husband and father of three, I value family and affairs that strengthen my being. I own Studio Holland Fine Art. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Art and Visual Culture in the College of Design at Iowa State University where I teach all levels of painting and drawing since 2005.

Professor Holland holds a Masters of Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of Washington, Seattle and a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in drawing from Missouri State University, Springfield.
