Pnutwhistle...sometimes
Lady Helen although she's a little awkward about that so it's mostly just Helen. She's originally from the U.K. And grew up in Epworth in rural N. Lincolnshire. She now live in fabulous Las Vegas NV with her daughter, 3 dogs, 2 ferrets, 2 cats and a possible ghost . Being chronically hard up ( see that previous list of creatures eating her out of house and home... and ghost breakage of course) she got into the habit of painting on anything she could find - old shelves, tabletops, anything really. Now friends and neighbors me bring anything they think she might like. Possibly just to keep her out of their trash. She goes through it like tattooed raccoon.
Full disclosure... she has no clue whatsoever what she is doing. Always been painting. Her choice of subject matter was a cause for concern during school days, but she would not be swayed. She find faces fascinating, and zombies just add another layer of interest - particularly when rendered in unexpected, beautiful colors. She loves the contrast of placing something out of context in a painting that may at first seem traditional... basically she paints whatever she can't get out of her head... No more meaningful reasons, the fact is when she gets an idea for a picture in her head she can think of little else.
Her style tends to be a little shabby/chic/urban/rough at the edges, possibly due to the aforementioned recycled materials, and also possibly due to the aforementioned cluelessness. Since she is a genuine English Lady we will go with eccentric and charming.
She has been known to make an exhibition of herself, sadly not art related. So by purchasing her stuff you will be getting in at the beginning. Just imagine how smug you can be in a few years:
"What this? It's an early PW... you can tell because it's on a piece of her old flooring. Look? See the trademark dog hair texture?"
