Suzana ŽUnić MilačIć

I am 45 years old, born in Split, Croatia, where I live still with my family, my husband and three grown up kids.

I paint for 30 years now, started with pastels, and gradually accepted acrylics and oils.
Last 10 years I paint with oils only, artist range as they are really pleasure to work with, and strenght of pigment is really visible on my paintings as I like vibrant colours in my paintings.
I love flowers around me, at my living space, and on my canvas. The richness of colours, play of light and shade, different values on different time of day.
I paint them after I cut them from the garden, from market, local shop, and I make lots of different photographs of them.
My favorite artist was Georgia O'Keeffe. For long time, she was my inspiration.
Now, I just paint from love and I am improoving and changing with every painting I make.
