Nataliia Novosad

Nataliia Novosad was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine and currently lives and works in Houston, Texas. She completed 4-year structural classical art program and has a a PhD in Tourism Management from Kiev, Ukraine.

She uses an impressionistic, partly abstract, gestural and figurative picture language and prefers an expressive and powerful Palette Knife Painting. She is a contemporary artist mostly known for her Texas landscapes with strong contrasts and explosive colors.



INSPIRATIONS:

“I am influenced by painters like J. M. William Turner and his visionary abstraction of colors, by the unbelievable Vincent Van Gogh, Marc Chagall and Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, also by Gustav Klimt and his interpretation of the Art Nouveau, the impressionist Claude Monet and Edouard Manet”
