Ilsoo Kyung Maclaurin

I was born in Korea, 1938, now lives in Vancouver, Canada. I am a multimedia artist, painting, printmaking, photographic, filming and editing, I also performing.Nature inspires me to photograph. I try to visualize natural phenomena, the known and unknown aspects of the world around me. In todays world, we are showered with social, political, and critical issues that are affecting the way we see and process this information. I also use digital manipulation to create hidden meanings and to reconfigure these situations into a new synthesis of original ideas.
