Alexandra Buzatu

Born in 21st of April 1988 at Timisoara, Romania.Lives and works in Timisoara, Romania. My artwork is based mainly on portraits, for which I use bright and shiny colors and vibrated brush strokes, willing to describe the interiority as much as I am describing the exterior of my models. I choose my models among friends and family, and this makes it easier for me to acknowledge their states of mind and soul which are important in my creation process.

2006 Graduated from the Sabin Pauta Art Highschool in Resita Romania with the degree in painting
2009 Graduated from The Faculty of Arts and Design Timisoara with the Licence Degree in Painting.
2008-2009 studied at Paris 8 University in Paris, France
2009-2011 Masters Degree in Painting.
