Arvind Pasricha

Born in the UK in 1980 I have lived in Bharain, Australia, India, Malaysia and now currently living in Singapore. My work revolves around my fascination with the romantic image of India seen through the eyes of the West and my own perception of it, being brought up outside India. My work covers the social, political and historical issues that can be found in India today, behind the romantic images of the Mughal Empire with the Shahs and their grand palaces, the colours of Bollywood and India's so called economic growth good for all.

I have BA of Visual Arts in Fine Arts from Griffith University, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
