Chris Quinlan

I was Born in 1968 in Co. Tipperary, Ireland and now live and paint in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath.
As a child, I demonstrated a flare for painting and drawing. I dreamed of becoming a painter.

I have been painting since 1999 and predominantly a self-taught artist, studying art in my own time, attending gallery openings, art exhibitions, and fairs. I developed my talent with practice over time and my passion for painting went from hobby to profession. My artwork is a blend of rich colours and bold textures.
My hometown in Templemore, with its beautiful park and lake scenery provided the foundation for my artistry.
My love of travel and nature have hugely influenced my work which is inviting and vivid. I now live and paint in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
