Victoria Merki

Victoria was born in 1972 in Baku and represents the fourth generation of professional artists. From 1987 to 1992 she studied Fine Arts in private artistic studios of painters Vladimir Kiereev and Alexander Ponomarev in Moscow. At the same time,
in 1990 - 1992 she studied in private sculpturing artistic school of Valery Sadomov.
Since 1991 Victoria started to work as a book illustrator in different publish houses. In 1992 - got practice in Youth Art School «Atrium» and first international exhibition in Berlin. One year after she became a member of International Art Foundation in Moscow.
From 1993 to 1994 Victoria studied jewelry design. In 1997 she worked in France and Switzerland until 1999.
In 2008 Victoria moved to work and live in Italy and had several shows during that time. In 2013 she moved to Germany and continues to work as a painter.
She’s been working as an artist since 25 years now and her works are in private collections and museums in UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, USA, Sweden, Russia.
