Enikő is a figurative and abstract painter in Vancouver, BC.
She was born in Toronto, but graduated in Hungary. Enikő was mentored by renowned Hungarian artist Endre Szasz.
Her work is influenced by her memories in Europe. She took several road trips across the US to soak up freedom and ideas. Enikő is an emerging creator of ideas.

“I love to paint and inspire.”
Enikő elaborates her topics with rich surfaces and momentum. Her complex process combines oil paint and cold wax. Rectangular textures connect abstract with realism in an expressionistic way . Bold colors float around the canvas. Many layers applied on each other with different techniques, consistency and contents for the sake of contrast, texture or transparency. Textures result the process left to chance where surface defines shadows and highlights. These elaborate patterns transform her paintings into an emotional expressionism.
Her paintings present an elegant balance of organic and geometrical visual effects. Her intricate works lure you inward with its complexities.
