My name is Claudia Cota. My influences come from various international teachers as well as growth inside various cultures. I found that walnut stain is something commonly found in African art and woodwork, and I've added it to some of my art to give character to both live subjects and abstract paintings. Cities like Chefchaouen have made the exploration of color pallets something both beautiful and enigmatic. In short, my goal is to provide a piece that can provide color and culture to your home.
Although I live in CA, my heart was born and raised in the port city of Ensenada, Mexico. This is where I embraced a love for culture and the fine arts - especially painting, which is what I am doing full time. Obsessed by the liveliness of colors and textures, I fully enjoy expressing my feelings and emotions in every painting, thus leaving a part of my heart in each and every one of them. It fills me with joy and privilege to be able to share my art with you. Thank you!
