Natasa Krstic

I am painter, fashion designer and art and fashion theoretitian. As I grew up in an artistic family (my father is painter and architect and my mother is fashion designer) I always had a strong sence of connection beetween painting, fashion and architecture. My paintings are inspired by fashion photography and by work of other painters and writers. Therefore I believe in Cy Twombly's quotes: "Painting comes from painting" and "I can not separate literature from painting."
Main subjects of my work are f male identity, nature, freedom, time and space. What rules my work is the idea of representing beauty in different ways , through all different subjects .

Nataša Krstić (1972) graduated at the Departement for painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade , 1997.

She exhibited eight solo exhibitions in her hometown, Belgrade and many group exhibitions as well. She also participated in fashion shows on Belgrade Fashion week.
She is writing her first book on fashion , treating relations beetween fashion and fine art.
