Hasan Mutlu

Born in 1957 in the city of Yozgat (Sorgun)/Turkey, I attended elementary and middle school in the town of Sorgun. I worked for various national magazines in 1975 drawing comic strips and illustration. I finished Painting Department of Gazi University Education Institute in 1980 and started in the same year some projects in Ankara State Art and Sculpture Museum. The following year, I worked on restoration of paintings in İstanbul Art and Sculpture Museum. In 1984, I won French State Scholarship and went to Paris. There I conducted various theoretical and practical studies on restoration, conservation of paintings as well as museology. Meanwhile, I conducted researches in different countries on restoration of painting and museology and attended numerous national and international art events. Moreover, I took place as manager or juror in European&Asian Art biennials, hundreds of domestic-foreign exhibition organizations. My artworks are included in many special domestic&international collections involving Ankara and İzmir State Art and Sculpture Museums, Bodrum Museum, Bishkek Museum, and those of İş Bank, Halk Bank, Turkish Prime Ministry, Turkish Ministry of Finance, Public Administration Institute For Turkey and Middle East.
