Angela Di Blasi

Angela Di Blasi was born on 16/08/1979 in Palermo, where she lives now. She graduated in 1997 at the First Art School Eustachio Catalano Palermo, obtaining the art high school diploma. In 1999 she got the Graphic Designer Certificate at the agency for Professional Training IAL Palermo. In 2007 she took a degree at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo, sector fine art decoration, in which she specialized, as illustrator of fairytales for children.
2000-2017 - She dedicated herself to the illustration of fairytales for children, using recycled materials, from textiles to plastic, from glass to metal, creating an art that involves the observer’s entire sensory perception. It is a process that comes out from colours, forms, landscapes, elements belonging to the collective memory, taking their own original material, thanks to the artistic techniques in use.
