Adam Galic is an artist from Helensburgh on the south coast of NSW. He completed his BFA at the National Art School in 2011, majoring in oil painting. Adam finds his inspiration in the natural world; from the bush to the coast, the Australian landscape is a common subject in his work.
Adam emphasizes bold brushstrokes and dramatic light to leave his impression on the landscape. Thus, creating moments of realism in an almost impressionistic style.
He has been a finalist in the SBS portrait prize in 2020, semi-finalist(salon) in the Lethbridge landscape prize in 2021, and finalist in the George's River art prize 2022.
