Adriana Ricciardi

I am graduated in architecture and I work with interior design and digital art.
My artwork inspirations are the interdisciplinarity of fields of study. Between architecture and art, and trying to actualize both from the analogue to the digital medium of expression.

I concluded a direct Ph.D. graduate course, in May 2019, at the University of São Paulo, Faculty of Architecture andUrbanism, supervisor Prof. Dr. Rafael A. C. Perrone.The focus of my Ph.D. thesis, ´Architecture in Process Conceptual Matrices Between Art and Architecture in theWork of Zaha Hadid`, was on the study of design processes by the reading of the work of ZHA (Zaha HadidArchitects). The object of study of the thesis, composed by the readings of the design processes, unfolded in theobject of knowledge, composed by the development of architectural surfaces and relations with the contemporaryarts and the new possibilities and capacities of the representational, operational, and generative processes used inthe design and development of architectural projects.Since the end of 2019, I have been a post-doctorate researcher at FAU-USP (supervisor Prof. Dr. Rafael A. C.Perrone), with the research project ´Digital Sketches Interactions and Hybridization in Ideation of DesignProcesses`. It focuses on the different modes of practice and processes that have emerged in computationaldesign.
