Adrian Frencken

Adrian Frencken is a self-taught sculptor based in Auckland, working exclusively in water-based clay and bronze. With a background in industrial design, his work is rooted in a deep understanding of form, gesture, and anatomy.
His first official bronze sculpture was cast in 2019, sparking a profound connection to this ancient medium. Transcending time, outliving both artist and collector as a legacy passed through generations.

Adrian’s sculptures are entirely handmade without the use of digital tools, embracing the tactile nature of traditional craftsmanship. His work explores presence and volume, filling space with emotion and movement.
