My name is Agnieszka Alpin and I am a Polish artist and an interior designer based in Krakow. I have showed an interest and a passion for painting and interior design from a young age. I have started to practise art seriously 10 years ago when I understood it is something I cannot live without. I found myself by using oil paints on large canvases where I create the specific brush strokes. I try to compromise organic and geometrical forms together. It reflects my dynamic and lively personality. Most of the time I paint architecture, travels and people - that's what I am the most passionate about.
‘Travelling allows me to understand everything that is alien. My experience from travelling is depicted in my pictures. They present a colourful world mostly focussed on architecture and human body.’
Personally, travelling allows me to relax, unwind and take a break from the fast-paced lives we currently live. I love to walk around places of outstanding beauty and observe everything in a different way.
My favourite artists who inspire me are Vincent van Gogh, Henri Matisse and Joan Miró.
