In my painting, mostly figurative made with oil, I attempt to express the women strength behind and beyond their beauty. Influenced by contemporary fashion and art, I celebrate women embellishing them with intricate lace or guipure. I choose this because lace, in spite of its implied fragility, holds a very special power in the sartorial world. I can say it is the embodiment of women in fabric form.
Agostina is a graduate in Marketing and International Trade and a visual artist based in San Juan, Argentina.
Her first steps into art were charcoal drawings on paper. After that photography became a passion and she started to swing between the world of color and light for a few years. Shortly after, she began to paint watercolor and oil, feeling a special attraction to express herself through the paint so she started taking classes from main masters to get realistic painting techniques.
