Agustin Torres

Since I was a child painting has been my passion, so during more than 50 years, I have been capturing the beauty of my daily life surroundings. I particularly enjoy painting landscapes, animals, still life, and the colonial buildings of my native Morelia, where I have lived all my life.

The art of Jose Maria Velasco is one of my major artistic influences.

I am a self-taught artist. Over the past 30 years, I have been giving classes at my own academy and during the 00's I had an art instruction program on Michoacan's statewide television.
