Albertyna Kacalak

Albertyna Kacalak was born in Lodz, Poland in 1988.
Graduated with distinction from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw (main field of study: Painting) and received her Masters in Fine Arts in 2012.
As a parallel with her work as a painter, Albertyna is a teaching assistant working as a PhD student at the same Academy, in the atelier of painting of prof. Zdzislaw Nitka and multimedia atelier of prof. Pawel Jarodzki. She runs therapeutic art sessions, creative work with children and adults, including children and adults with disabilities.
But first and foremost she is a painter.
Her works can be found in private collections in Canada, Czech Republic, Germany and Poland.
Albertyna’s paintings are currently Represented by The Gallery of Art in Hamburg. Previous: City Gallery in Wroclaw.
She lives in Wroclaw since 2007.
