Aleksandra Bukowska

Aleksandra is a native of Warsaw, Poland, since recently based in Brussels. Her work is regularly featured in Warsaw’s emerging artist galleries, most recently in renowned DESA Unicum Auction House. Her work is influenced by modern techniques and new forms of art. They are often transposed to traditional form in paintings and designs. That link between the classical and the modern is ever present in her work. It is a journey to the past, to the old archetypes, channeling them to express emotions, contemporary dilemmas and the state of modern human condition.

Honors M.A. degree in new media arts of Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, and honors degree from W. Gerson Art School in Warsaw.
