Aleksandr Gorbatov

Hi,my name is Alexander Mikhailovich Gorbatov. I'm a sculptor,member of the Union of artists of Russia,author of famous monuments and sculptures in the city of Armavir.I am a representative of the classical Soviet school,at the same time, I am always open to new trends and styles of modern painting

He began to draw after school, entering the Moscow art Academy named after Abramtsevo.Graduated with honors.After 3 years he moved to Grozny,where the creative formation took place.

Since 1971 I started to participate in various exhibitions.In 1981, I made a set of "tete-a-tete" ,which is now stored in the Fund of the Armavir Museum of local lore.Most of my works were exhibited in 1982 in Leipzig, Germany at the autumn International fair.
