Sketchtank Alessandro Gianoli

Freelance photographer based in Milan. Alessandro has a degree in Political Science and an MA in Photojournalism.

Keen to put his strain in producing compelling documentary images and multimedia projects, Alessandro started his experience in the field of social communication during an intern at Refugee Coucil in London. Since then, he worked in Italy, UK and India on personal projects and commissioned assignments for NGOs' awareness campaigns. His visual and conceptual style is defined by an anthropological approach to people. Crossing cultural barrier, empathizing with the person framed in the viewfinder and never, never give up questioning himself: "Am I stereotyping the subject?".
