Alessio Liberati

Alessio Liberati (born Cagliari, Italy, 1970), visual artist and writer, lives in Sardinia. Visual poetry is his field of action on the artistic, critical and didactic plane. With a scientific background and an artisticself-formation, since 1991 Liberati has created a personal style of writing, through various artistic forms: kinetic calligrams, Poesia Visiva works, concrete poems, poem-objects, interactive poems, kinetic poems in booklet format, pps format and video, visual web poems. Liberati had contacts with some of historic artists of Poesia Visiva movement (Eugenio Miccini, Stelio Maria Martini, Mirella Bentivoglio) and collaborations with Luca Maria Patella and the islamic calligrapher Gabriele Mandel.
