Alexandr Mylnikov

I was born in 1974 in the USSR in the town of Taiga, Kemerovo Region. Now I live in St. Petersburg. I am inspired by the abstract painting of US artists of the second half of the 20th century, the architecture of modernism and deconstruction I transform what I see around me, in photographs or videos, into abstract images. I try to convey in my paintings my ambitions and the ambitions of other people, to convey the desire to achieve something new, the strength and energy of movement.
