Alexandra Kravchenko (Tarasova) is a Russian painter, graphic artist, master of decorative and applied arts, teacher, member of the Union of Artists of Russia,
corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Now I live and work in Stavropol, the North Caucasus, Russia. The main activity is the creation of paintings at the studio and plein air painting in different parts of our
country. I participate in regional, all-Russian and foreign exhibitions and projects.
My works are in both Russian and foreign museum collections, and in private collections as well. I often create landscapes, abstract compositions to order. The
main idea of art is the exploration of life in its diversity - either beautiful or unusual faces of people, the urban scenery in graphic or pictorial technique. On my
own time free from my creative work, I teach my students painting, graphics, sketching individually.
In 2012, I graduated from the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Art with a specialization in monumental and decorative art with a gold medal. Workshop of B. N. Klochkov; M. A. Zhitnikov. Russia, Yekaterinburg.
