Alicia Hunter

I spent my early years travelling, Scuba Instructor in the Caribbean that moved on to working on yachts. I was fortunate enough to be part of a crew that sailed a 95' sailboat across the Atlantic ocean. But I was always making things or photographing everything I saw. Went to art school and tried as many different diciplines as I could photography, sculpture, painting, and more, so the enviable student loans resulted. I became a welder for good steady and well paid work. I've worked in gold mines and sawmills but now I'm in the detail orrientated work of fabrication, we work on various projects from multi million dollar homes to working on other artists' public and privately commissioned art projects. My work uses various mediums and techniques because I'm constantly facinated by all the world has to offer and I never want to stop learning.
