RECOGNITION

Alicia Maury is a fine art contemporary artist, selling her artwork worldwide online and galleries. Her paintings are serene and peaceful with vivid colors. Her compositions have contrasted with great elements of design. Maury has exhibited at many national and international art exhibitions.

"I am retired from the New Jersey public school in June 2011 after teaching fine art for many years, sharing my passion with a hundred students yearly and painting as often I can. Now I have more time to pursue my passion for painting and traveling.

My goal is to attempt to express something more than landscape or seascape. I want to express freedom, peace, serenity, and memories of those simple and traditional things.

" It is my hope that the viewer will be transported there.

Master's Degree in Fine Art Education. Graduate with high honors from Kean University, Union, New Jersey. Maury holds an Arts Teacher certificate from the state of New Jersey and Florida State. She has taught fine art and ceramics workshops in major universities, museums, public libraries, community agencies, and institutions in New Jersey and New York.
