When I am painting, I have this mini-universe where I feel secure, where I can play more freely than ever with colors, shapes, texture and patterns. I’m all over the place, on my knees, on the floor making all kind of signs, at the table scrubbing or putting another layer on top covering something that I have previously done, bent over my table or standing up, leaning on a wall or working on multiple pieces at the same time, moving between them like a pianist on the entire keyboard. I studied literature at the University of Bucharest. After my graduation in 2011, I went on to study for a PhD degree in contemporary poetry, for which I established an arch between imagery in postmodern poetry and in the other arts of the second half of the twentieth century.
