Maria Alina Staicu

I live, paint and teach in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I also write articles about art at a cultural magazine and I illustrate books for children. I also have workshops for children of different ages. My projects have contemporary social subjects and I am fascinated by the elusive, vague, unclear and paradox of the human condition. I paint from the desire of gethering the past and the present in the same surface, to live them in the same moment, as multiple lives, as multifaced and still unexplainable experiences.
