Using curved and continuous lines, Alix creates pastel toned lively pieces where frames and subjects feed each other.
The artist mixes different recycled elements : cardboard, leather, wood, hair, scrap...to create unique paintings.
These are mainly portraits of men or women, anonymous or not, met in daily life...
Alix is fascinated by the unpredictable dimension and the fluidity of watercolor, that stays very much in tune with the curves of his drawings...
His signature style is visible through the importance given to colors and the choice of thematics reproduced in his works...
