Mohamed Elmahdi Abdarrahman

I am an artist from the Sahara, I try to express freedom in all its forms through my art paintings, I have shown since a young age a marked interest in the visual arts; I started my creative process from the age of 5 alone without drawing lessons or training, I draw by instinct. This was the beginning of a great adventure that continues today.

The grains of sand are my main tools, I collect them next to each other to form my paintings which idolize the freedom, I continue to be free to express this love through my colors and my unique style.
My works, whether they show nature, nomads or human history, they become a way to share our passion for painting and art.

My style is bold, original and inspired, there is a sepia line delineating the characters and objects that make up my paintings. My paintings are alive, warm and contrasting. I do not limit myself , my art works opens a window on freedom of thought.
I tried to apply the wisdom of the desert Tuareg who says: At the end of patience, there is Heaven.
