Ana Cockerill

A multimedia contemporary artist, Ana Cockerill was born in Brazil and has lived and worked in London since 1987. She started her studies in arts during the late seventies and obtained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the 'Escola de Belas Artes' of the Federal University of Bahia. Posteriorly, she accomplished master courses in the conservation and restoration of paintings and baroque sculptures (Brazil), and in textiles conservation (Portugal), and later on (2000 - 2003) she accomplished an MA in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths University of London.

Her art includes works in painting, sculpture, digital design, mixed media and installations.

Ana Cockerill has exhibited in the UK and abroad, and at present she works as an artist and curator, as well as an Art Psychotherapist conducting private Art Therapy/Psychotherapy sessions in her studio, in West London. She is registered at the HPC-UK.
