Anahi Garcia

I was born and living in Guatemala. My biggest influences come from figurative art. As for painting, I like to work in oil because of its versatility, I have explored watercolour and acrylic seeking to explore their colors. I intend to find those things with which most of us can identify, capturing the daily life and beauty that exists in life itself, both in painting and photography.

In the last year I enrolled in LAAFA online workshops. Previously I studied Oil Painting at the Atelier de Arte, by Sergio Antonio, acrylic with María Victoria García, Guatemalan artists of recognized trajectory. I have also studied photography with renowned photographers such as Iván Castro, Ernesto Herrarte and Ricky López.
