Eco Pola Ana Paula Portilla

Ana Paula Portilla is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, installation, and textile art. For over 30 years, she has explored the intersections of body, memory, and nature, creating immersive works that oscillate between ritual and poetry. Exhibited internationally — from the Grand Palais in Paris to the Museo Kaluz in Mexico City and the Museo Leonora Carrington — her practice blends sacred femininity, myth, and the wild into powerful visual narratives. Today, her animal series Untouchable Presences affirms her vision of art as both a sanctuary and a mirror of our deepest instincts.

Trained in Fine Arts in Paris and Mexico, Ana Paula Portilla enriched her practice with studies in graphic design, permaculture, and contemporary art therapy, shaping a multidisciplinary vision rooted in body, memory, and nature.

Ana Paula Portilla has participated in more than 90 solo and group exhibitions internationally, across Mexico, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Brazil, USA, Australia, Japan, and beyond.
