Ana Plaksenko

Anastasia Plaksenko is a Ukrainian- Australian artist and illustrator living in Sydney. Her signature style is an unmistakably feminine and dreamy interpretation of the world. Her works explore the balance of strength and vulnerability, firmness and fragility, wants and needs, with soft pastels contrasted by strong lines and unexpected floral bursts. Anastasia’s work has been greatly impacted by her surroundings, love of the human form and proportions between the feminine and masculine. Many pieces explore the complexities of romance, human connection and the textures that shape perception. Parallel to her artworks examinining instincual and natural elements, Anastasia enjoys creating pieces that incorporate impulsive themes of designer and media influences.
