Andreea Bianca Velcsov

Andreea Bianca Velcsov (Balog) was born in 1988 in the city of Resita in Romania but live and work in the United States.
Working primarily in mixed media, she masterfully weaves textured layers, fluid techniques, and a recurring square motif to disrupt and reconstruct the traditional portrait, inviting contemplation of identity’s dualities. Her art radiates psychological depth and tension, unfolding raw vulnerability, beauty, and contradiction within the human experience.
