Andrei Popov is an artist and illustrator known for his metaphorical and ironic visual language. His works combine clarity of form, decorative elegance, and subtle humor. Born in Tashkent and trained in both art and engineering, he developed a distinctive style that blends fine craftsmanship with deep symbolic meaning. Popov lives and works in Haifa, creating paintings, graphics, and author’s series that reflect human emotions, daily paradoxes, and the poetry of visual metaphor

Andrei Popov studied at the art studio of Yakov Frumgarts in Tashkent — one of the strongest and most respected studios of its time. After finishing school, he entered the Military Space Academy in Saint Petersburg, where he received an engineering education and the rank of officer. Later he left military service and devoted himself entirely to art.
