A native of Quebec, André is an artist working in his studio in Lévis, Canada. André specializes in landscapes representing Canadian nature and seascapes. He particularly uses colors and contrasts to capture moods and emotions. The arts have always occupied a great place in his life. There is always a need for exploration and creativity with him. Curious, he has touched on everything. Discovering the inner mechanics of his mother's old dial at the age of three until his bike was completely undone when he was a teenager. His interest in discovering and exploring everything gradually led him to the arts. Self-taught, refusing to impose a style on himself and wishing to discover for himself, took him in several directions. First jewelry in Quebec and Switzerland, then watercolor, oil paint, pastel, pencils and finally, in recent years acrylic paint. His desire is to share his works for the pleasure of all.
Quote: 'Creating works of art is not just something I do; It is the foundation of who and what I am. Every time I put a brush on a canvas, it's a new experience and a new step in my journey as an artist. '
The most rewarding thing for me is when this expression touches someone's heart.
