Andre Mojekwu

Originally from Nigeria, moved to the U.S. in 2009. Graduated from UIC with a Bachelor's in Art (2010-2014). Attending Le Cordon Bleu (Chicago). From an early age, my goal as an artist was to constantly improve myself technique wise, and to really understand how to bring my work to life. Though most of my college education was focused mostly on abstraction and obscure visuals, I personally have an interest in the human mind, relationships, society, and intense color. I don't think a painting needs to be overly complicated for it to be good, so I'm never afraid to make paintings that are in touch with mainstream society. Alongside art, I also have a strong interest in culinary arts. I feel they go hand in hand, and my experiences with making art help to compliment my dishes. Feel free to check out my portfolio at
