A neurodiverse artist from the concrete jungle of Milton Keynes (however I recently crossed the border into Northamptonshire)- I have spent my adult life working as a social and commercial photographer, got married, had a bunch of kids and spent my days working none stop. In 2015 my life changed when my 20 month old son Edward died. After a few years of struggle I realised I no longer wished to work my life away and turned towards my practise as a way to discuss my grief.
My focus is now on exploring this further with often abstract studies into grief, autism and life. I have an obsession with light and the idea that light can be everything in our world... While often being nothing. Light, colour frequency and vibration is all we really have... And often all that's left when we are gone.
Digital art, 3d installation and painting and a few of the mediums I enjoy however I am always exploring ways to expand my practice.
I am very much disconnected from the art world with very few connections in the industry so hoping to use the internet as a way to be more involved in the arts (without the need for extensive human interaction )/
As with many autistic individuals I left school early at the age of 15 to undertake odd jobs.
As soon as I could I traveled and spent time in asia and around europe before setting up my business.
